Want to hear what Governor Andrew Cuomo has to say about whether schools with open in New York this fall? Listen to his conference call live...

Governor Cuomo promised a decision on schools in New York state this week. Friday he announced "all school districts can open."

All schools have submitted plans on how they will reopen safely amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Those that haven't will be contacted by the Department of Health.

"We're going to watch the infection rate between now and the days school open, if there's a spike, we'll revisit," said Cuomo who want districts to talk to teachers and parents. "If teachers don't come back and parents don't send kids back, there no point in opening schools."
