In an exclusive interview on the Oprah Winfrey Network, Lance Armstrong admitted he took banned substances throughout his career. Lance called the situation "one big lie" and admitted he did not feel bad about taking performance enhancing drugs. According to Armstrong his use of PEDs was not cheating, but made cycling a level playing field. Armstrong told Oprah "I went and looked up the definition of cheat, and the definition is to gain an advantage on a rival or foe. I didn't view it that way. I viewed it as a level playing field."
