Some see bugs and go "ewwww," while others are fascinated by the "how and why" of insects and butterflies. For those of latter persuasion, don't miss Insectapalooza at Cornell University.

The annual event is at Cornell's Comstock Hall Saturday, October 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bizarre, bad and beneficial of the insect world will be featured in an interactive displays. There's a live butterfly room, arthropod zoo and hundreds of live insects and spiders.

It costs just  $3 per person, kids 3 and under are free. Insectapalooza details are available at Cornell's website including directions and where to park.
