Jelly Roll Brings the Heat to Central New York

Jelly Roll was in Central New York, and he received a gift that will have him remembering his stop for years to come.

Before hitting the stage at Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, he went to the Melo Center at Syracuse University, where things got pretty cool, pretty fast.

The Syracuse men’s basketball team hooked him up with a custom jersey with his name on it, and Jelly Roll was all in.

“This is sick, son. This is fire. Super, super dope,” he said, taking it all in like a kid living a dream moment.

“I Never Went to College…”

Jelly also joked with the team that he never went to college, which technically makes him eligible if they ever need some help on the court.

Not sure Coach is calling him up for a late-season roster move, but hey…with all his recent weight loss, he should be able to run up and down the court.

A Night at Lakeview… and a Whole Lot of Traffic

Then it was showtime.

Jelly Roll hit the stage at the Lakeview Amphitheater and did what he does best—put on a full-on, emotional, high-energy show that had the crowd right there with him the whole night.

Better Late Than Never

Although not everyone made it in time.

Traffic around Syracuse got brutal, and a lot of fans were still stuck on the road while the opening moments were already rolling.

Still, once you were in the gates, it was clear—it was one of those nights people will be talking about for a while.
