
Ilion Public Library Debuts ‘Free Tool Library’
Have you ever been in the middle of a home project and realized you don't have a tool that you need? Well the Ilion Free Public Library is here to help.
The Ilion Free Public Library has a new program called the 'Free Tool Library' where you can check out home and garden tools to help you complete a project.
Here's how it works:
-Anyone in good standing with the Mid-York Library system can take advantage of the program
-All tools are available to rent for two weeks unless otherwise listed
-Must sign a liability waiver that will be kept on file for one year
-All tools must be returned in the same condition they were lent
Here's a list of the tools available:
- bench jointer
- caulk gun
- circular saw
- hand saw
- level
- plunge router & bits
- pry bar
- push broom
- scroll saw
- sheet sander
- shop vac
- sliding square
- utility grinder
Garden tools are also available:
- cultivator
- digging fork
- garden rake
- gutter cleaner
- hand cultivator
- hand weeder
- lawn spreader
- trowels
