Hyperloop is a new form of public transportation that could transform the way we travel. Could it be coming to New York?

It is entirely possible.

Currently Hyperloop is searching for 10 regions across the world to host the first commercial Hyperloops, and according to WKBW.com, Western NY/Eastern Canada is one of the front-runners.

The suggested stretch is from Toronto to Montreal, but officials at Hyperloop say the next logical step would be to expand into New York via Buffalo.

That trip would be only 12 minutes long, but if expanded to New York City could cut Buffalo to NYC down to 37 minutes!

Imagine if Hyperloop catches on and expands across the country. You could conceivably commute to work in Florida in the time it takes to drive to Buffalo!
