The Frog Days of Summer have been filled with a number of celebrity birthdays, and even our current president. Well, today happens to be our 42nd president's birthday - Bill Clinton is 65 years old today.

Even in retirement, Mr. Clinton has been very active with speaking engagements and his global organization: the Clinton Global Initiative. As a matter of fact, I met President Clinton (even shook his hand) a few years ago at the New York State Fair in Syracuse, where he was attending with his wife, then U.S. Senator from New York, Hillary Clinton, our current Secretary of  State. I later saw him speak at Hamilton College in Clinton, in 2004 (right after the re-election of President George W. Bush).

Here's a little bio info courtesy of Wikipedia:

William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton (born William Jefferson Blythe III; August 19, 1946) served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001. Before that, he was Governor of the state of Arkansas. Inaugurated at age 46, he was the third-youngest president. He took office at the end of the Cold War, and was the first president of the baby boomer generation. He is married to Hillary Rodham Clinton, who has served as the United States Secretary of State since January 21, 2009 and was the Senator from New York from 2001 to 2009. Both Clintons received law degrees from Yale Law School.

So, Happy Birthday Mr. President.
