Happy Birthday Kirk

One of my favorite actors, Kirk Douglas celebrates his 94th birthday today.  I can't recall a living actor today who has appeared in so many quality films.

Kirk Douglas was born December 9, 1916 in Amsterdam, New York, so he's a neighbor.  He has so many great films to his credit, starring in Gunfight at the OK Corral with his pal Burt Lancaster, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Vikings and his best known film, Spartacus.  And in spite of a stroke a few years back, Kirk still appears at Hollywood functions and an

occasional stop on Larry King Live.  Here's to you Kirk Douglas. We salute you.  Happy Birthday!
