The Utica Zoo is known for putting on some awesome events, including Brewfest, Wine and The Wilderness, and now some Shakespeare!

The Little Falls Theater Company, or LiFT, is a newly founded theater group based in Little Falls that is "dedicated to create quality local theatrical productions to enrich the lives of those in the Mohawk Valley." They usually perform at the Little Falls Canal Celebration, but are now making their way out to the rest of Central New York.

On Monday, August 1st, you can go see the LiFT group perform this summer's production of Shakespeare's 'Much Ado About Nothing' at the Utica Zoo. The show will be free with admission to the zoo. The show will begin at 6 pm.

If you're not able to make the show on August 1st, there's still a few more chances for you to see this summer's show. They will also have performances:

  • Friday, August 5th: 120 London Bridge, Caroga Lake at 7 pm
  • Thursday, August 11th: Benton's Landing, Little Falls at 6 pm
  • Saturday, August 13th: Sterzinar Park, Little Falls at 4 pm
  • Sunday, August 14th: Sterzinar Park, Little Falls at 3 pm
