Gas Prices Higher Than a Cat’s Back

I received a $20 gas card that I am very thankful for.  I used today and I'm pretty sure the gas gauge needle moved when I was finished.  According to Ed Welsh with our sister station, WIBX and AAA we prices are about 80 cents higher than last year and we could be paying 4 bucks this summer.  That story here. Then I got to thinking....As a little kid I remember gas stations had gas wars.  They would keep lowering prices, 16 cents a gallon is as far back as I can remember.  What's the lowest gas price you recall?  And who could forget the man with a star?
