Food You Can’t Get Close to Home

Is there a food you can't get nearby? You sampled it on vacation or you lived there at one time and no one else does it that way. I once lived in Vincennes, IN and there was a pizza place called Byron Bobe's Pizza House. I was always told they processed their own meat was what made their pizza so different.

Whenever I get back that way I always order two " Farouks" for the road.  I have no idea what farouk means, other than great pizza.  Is there a food favorite you can't find anywhere near home?
