Farm Fest Has A New Home For 2019

Farm Fest will have a new home in 2019. After 3 years at the DiNitto Farms in Marcy, the annual Ag Showcase returns to familiar ground in Verona this May.

The annual Farm Fest is Friday, May 31st from 4:30 to 8:30 and returns to the Brabant Farm on Happy Valley Rd in Verona. The family farm milks 800 Holsteins and is run by brothers Joe, Paul, Steve and Patrick, and nephew Joey.

Farm Fest 2019 is a cooperative effort of the Oneida County Farm Bureau, Oneida County Dairy Promotion, and Oneida County Cooperative Extension. Activities for the day include:

• Educational Exhibits and Displays
• Hay Maze, Farm Tours, Hay Rides, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo & Vendors
• Kiddie Tractor Pulls at 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm
• A chicken BBQ, Hamburgers & Hot Dogs
• FREE Face Painting by local 4-H youth

Admission to the Farm is free and most activities are too. There is a charge for pony rides and the food is prepared by Oneida County 4-H clubs as a fundraiser. It's cash only. Get more information at the Farm Fest Facebook page.
