While the leaves are already starting to change in parts of Upstate New York, what can we expect for fall colors? A Cornell University professor is saying that the colors this year could be very bright.

WKTV is reporting Cornell plant biology Professor Karl Niklas is saying that thanks to the late August and early September temperatures, it could be the perfect recipe for bright leaf colors.

Niklas says he expects this year's fall foliage to be average or above average for viewing. Add to that decent rainfall this year and you have the makings for a good display this fall."
