Laura Diddle studied under Ralph Murray for almost twenty years. She has also taken workshops from Guy Corriero in Maine and has expanded learning on her own by reading and experimenting with new ideas.

She is a member of the Cazenovia Watercolor Society, the Cooperstown Art Association and has been a member of View in Old Forge as well as the Kirkland Art Center. She is the founder of the Community Fine Arts Guild of Sherrill. For years, she has organized art retreats to both Maine and the Adirondacks. Laura has had solo shows at the Sherrill Library and participated in many group shows including Munson-Williams-Proctor, Cazenovia, Canastota, Cooperstown, Old Forge and Clinton. She has been teaching an adult class at the Sherrill Library for the last eight years and has also led children’s workshops in watercolor.
