If you're an artist looking to display your masterpiece, the date to enter is right around the corner for the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute Sidewalk Art Show 2012. The dates to drop off your artwork are Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the institute on Genesee Street.

For those looking to submit artwork, there are a few policies. According to the registration form on the MWPAI website:

"This is a juried exhibition. Not every work submitted will be placed on view. One work may be submitted by each artist. All works must be originals, not copies, produced within the past five years and not previously exhibited at the Institute, including the School of Art Annual Exhibition."

Also, the work that you submit, "must be securely framed." Again, according to the registration sheet:

"Watercolors, drawings, prints and photographs must be framed under glass. DO NOT include wire and screw eyes for hanging. Maximum outer dimensions, including frame, are 44 inches high by 48 inches wide by 2 inches deep. Maximum sculpture dimensions are 24 x 24 x 24 inches."

And, there is a $10 registration fee for your artwork.
