How many of you give a big ol' hug to your dog when you see it? I know I do. And, you can't forget about the little doggy kisses, too, right? Why do I mention hugging your dog? Well, according to a new survey by Beneful Baked Delights dog treats, 68 percent of people who took part in the poll said that they hug their dog "more often than certain people in their lives." What exactly does that mean? Well, 30 percent of people who took part in the poll say they "hug their dogs more than their relatives."

If you are one to hug your dog, does it make you smile or feel happy? According to the survey, 56 percent of people say that "hugging their dog makes them smile" and 55 percent of those polled said a doggy embrace "makes them feel happier." I have to agree. When I hug my dog, I get instantly happier.
