"Made In Utica" is a local group that was founded to promote and take pride in all things our city has to offer. With the AHL All-Star Classic coming to the Utica Memorial Auditorium, this local group decided to put together a unique way for businesses to showcase what they have to offer to visiting hockey fans. The "Do It For Utica" weekend is taking place from Saturday, January 24th through Monday, January 26th. A total of 20 area businesses will be participating in offering special discounts, many of which will be offering food and drink specials for $5.

Founder of "Made In Utica," Justin Parkinson, says "We're hoping to show off what Utica has to offer." Local business owners are excited as well. Tim Schram from "The DEV" is looking forward to participating.

After the success of the Utica Passport deals last summer, we are more than happy to take part in Do It For Utica Weekend. We had such a great response from not only the deals we offered, but the buzz that was generated by the promotion that sent a lot of new customers our way.
