It's widely known that THE SOCIAL EVENT OF THE YEAR in the Southern Tier is the Friday night concert at the DICK'S Sporting Goods Open and it certainly will be this year.

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open at En-Joie Golf Course will be held earlier next year then normal. It'll go from Monday, June 19th to Sunday, June 25th and one of the top country stars is coming on Friday, June 23rd.

Kenny Chesney Is Performing At the 2023 DICK'S Sporting Goods Open

Kenny Chesney is bringing the "I Go Back Tour" to the En-Joie Golf Course on Friday, June 23rd. It was the Number #1 Billboard Country Tour in 2022 and there is no reason why it won't be the top show for 2023.

Many country superstar acts have come to play in front of the 18th green through the years including Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Florida-Georgia Line and Zac Brown Band. This may be the biggest yet.

In 2022, Chesney played at 21 NFL stadiums in front of over 1 million people and he's bringing the show to the Southern Tier. The concert will take place after the conclusion of the 1st round of play of the PGA TOUR Champions.

There is no opening act but he doesn't need one. Chesney says that the "I Go Back Tour" unlike any other as he takes the music back to where it comes from. Personally, I'm looking forward to hearing his earlier material from the 90s.
