Delta Lake Featured In New Online Scary Story

On the social media website Reddit, Rome New York was put into the spotlight recently. An author decided to write a scary story about the famous lake/town.

There is a board on Reddit called r/nosleep. On this page, people can submit scary stories. Users will comment on the story as if the story happened in real life. So when you see this Delta Lake story, keep in mind, it's fiction.

Our author known as Folcra talks about one of the "earlier settlers and landowners" by the name of Israel Stark in the story. The author created this character explaining that his personal history barely exists on record, but there is much mystery that surrounds him and the town.

The story goes into deep detail about the mystery of how the town was constructed, and it appeared that the whole thing was a lie.
