Daybreak Diner Closes in Marcy

A diner in central New York has closed.

Daybreak Diner on River Road in Marcy served their last meal Sunday, July 1st. The family run business that focuses on family couldn't find help to remain open. "We've been climbing an uphill mountain trying to find help that will put in as much heart as we do to serve our dedicated customers for us to be able to keep our customers happy without losing our family time," writes the DeLeonardo family on Facebook.

A message was posted to customers June 26th. "We are the type of people that put their all into everything we do and instead of allowing our business to run without us being there, which we were not comfortable with, we felt this was the best choice for our family & our business to close down."
