Is there anything like a free block party in the middle of the summer?

If that sounds like your kind of party, mark your calendars for Thursday, June 21 through June 23 in downtown Utica.

Utica SummerFest is a 3-day celebration of Utica complete with food, beverages, live music and more.

Each day kicks off at 4:30 p.m in front of the State Office Building on Genesee Street and runs until 8 p.m.

some of the local bands scheduled are Funk Evolution, Jimmy Vivino and the Blue Soul Rockers, The Monk Rowe Trio, and the Boat Drunks.

The Street Performance Artists featured during Utica Summer Fest have earned high praise for their showmanship from audiences around the world. Each one has mastered skills you will find mesmerizing and wonderfully entertaining.

Plus there is much more to see and do. SummerFest is kid and family friendly with games and activities at the Fidelis Cares Kid's Zone, and the Utica ZooMobile will be there with animals too.

Utica Summer Fest will feature great eats from several of the region's finest Food Trucks. The Utica Summer Fest Beer & Wine Garden will offer an array of excellent Adult and All-Ages beverages, and will be poured by volunteers from The American Cancer Society.
