Country Paychecks At 2014 New York State Fair

Just how much does it cost the New York State Fair to bring in high profile grandstand acts each year? Over 3.3 million for 2014.

Syracuse.com broke down each act's paycheck for 2014 and the highest paid was Jason Aldean. He was also the only artist who had a sold out show. Was the draw Aldean himself or the fact Florida Georgia Line was also part of the show?

GRANDSTAND

Jason Aldean - $720,000
Florida Georgia Line - $50,000
Tyler Farr - $10,000
Brad Paisley - $450,000
Randy Houser - $35,000
Carrie Underwood - $500,000
Kid Rock - $500,000

I don't know what's more surprising. The fact Aldean gets a much higher paycheck than Paisley or Underwood or that Kid Rock gets the same as Carrie and Brad. I've seen Paisley a number of times and have never left his show disappointed. As for Underwood, the fair was the first time I'd been to her show. WOW! How can someone so small have a voice that big!
