Cornell Cooperative Extension Resumes Winter Shop Meetings – Ag Matters

None of us are as smart as all of us.  Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County is bringing Dairy Producers together to share ideas at their free Winter Shop Meetings. Special guest speakers and lunch are included.

The Winter Shop Meeting series kicks off November 18 at Vaill Brothers Farm located at 4549 Route 26 in Vernon, NY.  The meeting runs from noon until 2 and will feature guest speaker, Scott Flowers, an independent dairy consultant, discussing how to minimize shrink and capturing lost milk production.

There's no cost to attend the meetings, but reservations are appreciated. Call 315-736-3394 ext. 132 to reserve a spot.  Other meetings in the series will be held:

• Wednesday December 16th, 2015: 12-2pm
  at Jim McConnells Farm; 7874 Maxwell Rd. in Clinton

• Wednesday January 13th, 2016: 12-2pm
