Are your kids getting restless for some summer fun after being stuck in quarantine for most of the year? If so, a weekend adventure to this all-things-construction theme park just hours from Central New York may be in your future.

Diggerland, America's only construction-themed amusement park, reopens today, July 2, and there's a new attraction for visitors to the West Berlin, New Jersey site. The park features over 40 attractions, including Backhoe Adventure, Dig-A-Round and Excavator Express, for a variety of age groups. For its 2020 season, Diggerland even now has water park attractions. Whether they're on water or land, all of the park's rides and games have one thing in common: they're all about construction. Talk about a little kid's DREAM!

While the park is open again, operations will look different because of new regulations implemented because of COVID-19. Face coverings are required upon entering Diggerland and throughout the park, except while in the water, eating, drinking or sitting at a table or chair, given that social distancing is being followed. Guests must maintain at least six feet of space from people outside their group and follow all park signage. There will be hand sanitizing stations throughout the park and the the park's capacity must be kept to 50% at all times, per New Jersey State law.
