Cole Beasley Wishes Tiny Fan in Rome a Happy Birthday

All Waelynn wants for her birthday this year is a shout out from her favorite team - the Buffalo Bills. And it looks like she may just get her wish.

Waelynn's family in Rome are proud members of the Bills Mafix so she was raised to be a Bills fan. "Her favorite player is pretty much all of them," jokes mom Kelsie. "But she gets really excited watching Stephon Diggs and Cole Beasley."

On January 30th, Waelynn will turn 3 years old. This year for her birthday she asked for a Buffalo Bills party. "I’m trying to make it as best we can for her during the pandemic," said Kelsie who turned to Tik Tok to see if a someone could grant Waelynn's wish.

It didn't take long for the video to catch someone's attention. Cole Beasley, Buffalo Bills wide receiver, saw the video and granted Waelynn's birthday wish.

It's so nice to see players taking time for their fans. Especially during such an important weekend for Buffalo. The birthday wish came in hours before the Bills took on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

It's too bad Beasley and the rest of the team couldn't pull out a win for Waelynn and all the Bills fans. It would have been nice to watch them take on Tampa Bay and Tom Brady in the Super Bowl.

But it was one heck of a season. A season all Bills fans needed after so many years of watching their team lose. It brought us all together, if only figuratively, as we social distant from each other. It made us proud to finally have a team worthy of the playoffs and players worth cheering for.
