The National Weather Service has Central New York under a Lake Effect Snow Advisory and Winter Storm Watch.  When it's all said and done we could see 10" of snow or more.
The Lake Effect Snow Advisory is in effect until 3 this afternoon.  The Winter Storm Watch is in effect Saturday morning through Sunday morning.
ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW TODAY...WITH 7 OR MORE INCHES POSSIBLE SATURDAY.

* TIMING...LAKE EFFECT SNOWS WILL MOVE SOUTH INTO THE AREA TOWARDS DAYBREAK WITH SNOWS THEN EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON. MORE SNOW WILL DEVELOP ON SATURDAY.
Snowfall will be heavier in Northern Oneida County today with the Tug Hill Plateau expecting 10" or more.  Get weather updates.
