A Christmas house is lighting up Rome with music and holiday spirit. It's the home of Jon Maggiolino and Becky Price.

Jon is the brains behind the operation. He says he got the itch last year after seeing displays on television and YouTube. "I went out and bought as many Christmas lights as I could a few years ago. After last year, we doubled the lights."

We had people coming up to us in the summer asking if we were doing it again so we went all out trying to impress them more than last year

Becky is the hands behind the operation. "He has very big ideas and sometimes I have to real him back to reality. I'm always open to doing whatever he comes up with but it's a lot of work."

The Christmas light house is decked out with thousands of lights. "We have 23,000 LED lights all synchronized to music that Becky programs," explains Jon.

The display features tradition Christmas music and songs from the movie 'Frozen.' There's even a 7 foot animated display of Olaf.

The Rome community lined the street for the official flip of the switch Saturday, December 5th. "Last year was overwhelming and this year has been great so far," says Jon. "We had people coming up to us in the summer asking if we were doing it again so we went all out trying to impress them more than last year."

In addition to giving holiday spirit, Jon and Becky are giving back to the community. Last year the couple helped raised $500 for Toys for Tots and hope to do the same this year. "The marines will be at select shows collecting toys and donations. It's a great cause to bring gifts to kids in the area."
