Rising star Chris Lane ran into some big trouble on the road on Sunday (Oct. 30), when his tour bus caught on fire.

The "Fix" singer posted a clip to Instagram, depicting his tour bus in flames. The tail end of the bus was on fire in the video, narrowly avoiding setting fire to the small trailer Lane was pulling, with a number of items from inside the vehicle scattered along the shoulder of the highway.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Lane ended up losing some of his personal belongings in the blaze.

"Our Bus just burned down on the side of 65....all my stuff in the back," he writes, adding some unhappy-looking emoticons. "We are all Safe and the @panthers are winning so that's a positive," he adds along with a smiley face.

The young singer is riding high in his career right now, having just scored his first No. 1 hit with "Fix."

"What a special day and honor to be here with the songwriters who wrote an amazing song and believed in me enough to cut the song," Lane told Taste of Country at a party to honor the success of the single. "It was the day I honestly thought I’d never see. When I graduated college and started learning how to play the guitar, I couldn’t even fathom sitting here and doing something like this today. It’s a special day and one I can’t believe happened."
