Chely Wright is pregnant! The country singer announced that she and wife Lauren Blitzer-Wright will welcome twins this summer.

“We’re anticipating I’ll be as big as a Prevost bus or an A-frame house by around June,” she said. “We feel like God blessed us with twins. We feel our entire relationship has been blessed. We feel lucky and ready to take on the challenges.”

Wright, 42, and her 31-year-old wife revealed the news on 'Gwissues,' a YouTube show hosted by Howard Bragman. Bragman begins the interview by explaining how he worked with Wright when she came out as gay in May 2010. Wright met Blitzer -- who now works as the director of marketing at Sony Entertainment -- just weeks later, and they were married in August of 2011.

“We’re excited to be parents and we hope we don’t mess it up too badly!” Wright jokes. While she's due in July, they expect to deliver in June, as is often the case with identical twins.

In the video, Wright also shares how her pants are beginning to feel tight and shows off a modest baby bump. She experienced morning sickness during the first trimester, and both she and Blitzer said they were amazed by how much they've learned throughout the process.

"We learned so much about our own bodies," Wright said as she danced around, explaining exactly how two women get pregnant. "When gay couples have babies it’s logistically a little different than when straight people have babies.”

The babies will be the first for both women.
