Check Your Treats After New York Mom Finds Needle in Halloween Candy
A cruel trick in New York is reminding parents the importance of checking child's treats.
One trick or treated found a needle in their Halloween candy. "The child came home and bit into the candy when she noticed a needle in the candy bar," said police.
It happened in Hoosick Falls, New York but last Halloween, it was closer to home. The Vernon Police Department had two complaints of a silver-colored sewing needle inside a package of red Twizzler Twists candy last year.
This is just another reason ALL parents need to check any candy before eating it.
