Central New York’s First Fall Frost May Make an Appearance this Weekend
It must be fall in Central New York, temperatures are like the stock market; up, down and steady. The current downturn has the first frost of the season in the forecast for this weekend. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Outlook for frost, here's the when and where.

TIMING... Saturday night into early Sunday, frost is possible across the area. Low temperatures will be mostly in the low and mid-30s. The most likely areas for widespread frost will be the twin tiers to the Catskills.
WHAT TO DO... If possible bring plants inside. If not, cover with a sheet, light cloth or burlap material. Avoid using plastic coverings.
