Another Winter Weather Advisory for Central New York. And again it's not the amount of the snow, but the timing of it making the morning commute one giant pain. The National Weather Service says to plan on slippery road conditions this morning (11/14) and tonight.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 7 tonight, until 6 in The Mohawk Valley.

LOCATIONS... Southern and western sections of Oneida, Oswego -Onondaga- Madison Southern Herkimer-Southern Fulton-Montgomery Counties

WHAT... Lake Effect Snow 3 to 5 inches possible. Onondaga County can expect 6 to 10 inches. Madison County 5 to 8 inches and Valley areas will see 1 to 2 inches.

More winter weather is expected across Central New York with a storm system spreading a wintry mix Thursday night into Friday. Accumulating snow and/or ice is possible during this time. Be sure to check back for the latest forecast

Winter Weather Preparation:

  • Keep your cell phone charged and make sure you know where your backup power supply is.
  • Make sure all your flashlights have fresh batteries.
