Whether you're a snow lover or not - Get ready for it, because it's on the way!

The National Weather Service has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning.  The Warning goes in effect at 7pm this evening (11/19) until 1pm Monday (11/20).

The Lake Effect Snow Warning includes the counties of Oneida, Onondaga, and Madison which include the cities of Boonville, Syracuse, Hamilton, Oneida, Rome and Utica.  The snow is expected to make travel difficult, especially during the Monday morning commute. It'll be windy too with gusts up to 30 mph which will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow. Visibilities will also be reduced to less than half a mile.

Total snow accumulations of 4-7 inches are possible with up to 9 inches in some areas.

Listen to Tad and Polly in the Morning to find out if your school or workplace is closed due to the snow.

Good news is, once the lake effect snow ends late Monday - Skies turn sunny Tuesday and temperatures warm up to around 52.
