Central New York Deer Hunter Has an Encounter of the Moose Kind

Daniel Brogan of Munnsville took a hunting trip to Cranberry Lake. He and his father-in-law were hoping to bag the big one on opening weekend. And a "really big one" stepped right out of the woods.

Daniel says it was snowing pretty hard and he was considering getting out the stand. But as hunters will often say, "he could feel something." Daniel went on to say, the feeling was like when someone is staring at you and you feel it. That's when a huge moose walked right in front of his stand.

After giving it a minute to soak in, his first thought was, "my wife will never believe me." Thankful with today's technology he grabbed his phone and started recording to prove it. And we're just as thankful he shared it with us.
