Dairy Month Spotlight: Celebrating the People Behind the Dairy Industry
June is Dairy Month, and this year it’s more than just a celebration — it’s a chance to shine a light on the people who keep the dairy industry moving every single day.
From early-morning milkings on local farms to the production lines at places like Hood and Chobani, and everyone in between, dairy touches just about every corner of Central New York life. And behind it all are the farmers, workers, truck drivers, plant employees, and families who make it happen.
This year, we’re teaming up with Clinton Tractor to highlight those hardworking people during Dairy Month.
Honoring the Hands Behind the Industry
Each week in June, one person who works in the dairy industry will be selected to be featured and recognized for their contribution — whether they’re a dairy farmer, processing plant employee, equipment operator, or anyone who plays a role in getting dairy products from farm to table.
And to say thank you, each weekly honoree will receive a $250 gift card to Clinton Tractor.
