Cartoon Cats

These things always get started by some meaningless conversation, like "remember the cartoon mice Pixie and Dixie?"  What show was that?  Tom and Jerry? Sylvester? Snagglepuss?  Exhaustive research shows that my friends and I aren't too wise when it comes to this subject.  Tom and Jerry was a cat and a mouse, Sylvester of course chased Tweety Bird and Snagglepuss turns out to be a mountain lion.  Turns out Pixie and Dixie's nemesis was Mr Jinks whose favorite line was "I hate meeses to pieces."  And they were part of the old Huckleberry Hound Show.  Huh, who knew!
