The Holidays Came Early With Brett Young’s Version of ‘O Holy Night’ [Listen]
Brett Young shows off his raw vocal talent in his new version of "O Holy Night."
Young is getting fans ready for the holiday season as it fast approaches — he says he was thrilled to be able to record a song that has meant so much to him throughout his life.
“I grew up singing 'O Holy Night’ in church, and it reminds me of so many childhood memories," Young explains. “There's just something so beautiful and reverent about it that gets me in the holiday spirit every time I hear it. It is one of my favorite Christmas songs so I jumped at the chance to record it.” His version of the tune keeps intact his smooth country style, but also brings the sophistication the timeless ballad requires.

Fresh off the road with Lady Antebellum’s You Look Good Tour, Young is gearing up to go on his own Caliville Tour, kicking off Oct. 14 in Charlottesville, Va. The run will have up-and-comer Carly Pearce along as the supporting act and has already sold out several of its dates.
“I am so excited to get to go out on my first ever headlining tour this year. It’s a pretty surreal feeling,” Young said when the tour was announced.
The Taste of Country RISERS act released the music video for his song “Like I Loved You” in August, and the tune has reached No. 17 on the Billboard Hot Country songs chart.
