Boeheim Gets Win 903 As Orange Steamroll Rutgers

Jim Boeheim moved past Bobby Knight on the men's Division I all-time wins list with number 903 as the Syracuse Orange blew away Rutgers 78-53 at the Carrier Dome on Wednesday night with each team opening conference play.

Brandon Triche led the seventh-ranked Orange with 25 points, making five of seven 3-point attempts. C.J. Fair added 15 points of his own while Michael Carter Williams had 12 points and 10 assists.

Eli Carter had a team high 19 points for Rutgers (9-3, 0-1 Big East)

Syracuse moved to 13-1 overall and 1-0 in their final year of Big East play.

Boeheim's move up the career coaching wins list places him second only to Duke's Mike Krzyzewski - setting up annual face-to-face showdowns between the two most successful college coaches as Syracuse moves to the ACC next season.
