I've got a long connection to the Mohawk Valley, having attended Utica schools and graduating from Utica College with a B.S. Degree in Public Relations. I've hosted a number of radio programs, and my voice has been heard on the local airwaves through the years. When I'm not broadcasting, I enjoy reading science publications and sci-fi novels, traveling to some favorite vacation spots, and anything "Star Trek". I am a native of the Utica area and have many friends and family members in the area.

If you buy a real Christmas tree each year like my family does, you may wonder what you should be looking for? Obviously, you don't want a tree that's 3 feet taller than your ceiling, but which trees last longer, or smell better, or have softer needles that don't pinch your feet when you're walking barefoot in the house.
