AR-15 Left In Rental Car Of NFL Quarterback’s Wife, Rochester Woman Discovers It

Lauren Tannehill, wife of Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill, rented a car in early January and left something pretty important behind. She rented a Nissan Rouge from an E-Z Rent-A-Car in Florida back on January 4th. Two renters later, the semi-automatic AR-15 was found by Judith Fleissig of Rochester, NY. The practically brand new rifle was found in it's case in the back seat. The rifle valued at $2000 was registered to NFL quarterback Ryan Tannehill. According to a Broward Sheriff spokesperson, "This is certainly the kind of item you don’t want to forget anywhere, but forgetting isn’t a crime." This information is according to a report from the Miami Herald.

A spokesperson for the Tannehill family says that this is a personal matter and they have no comment.
