Another Central New York Heat Advisory until 10 tonight. I don't remember this many heat warnings in the 11 years we've lived in CNY.  Here's what to expect.

The heat advisory is in effect for the following counties: Northern and Southern Oneida, Onondaga, Madison, Yates, Seneca and Southern Cayuga.

HEAT INDEX VALUES... Peak values from 96 to around 98 this
afternoon.

TIMING... The most oppressive heat will be from 2 this afternoon until 8 tonight. Peak heat indexes of 98 will during the 4 and 5 o'clock hours.

WHAT TO DO...As always drinking plenty of fluids and stay indoors as much as possible. And check on older relatives and neighbors. Reschedule strenuous activities to early morning or
evening and wear lightweight and loose-fitting clothing.
