Anonymous Donor Makes Surgery Happen For HCHS Dog
The Herkimer County Humane Society has a guardian angel looking after at least one of their dogs.
After starting a Go Fund Me campaign to raise money for surgery for Maggie - a Black Lab at the shelter - donations started trickling in. But then the goal was hit by one anonymous donor who is obviously an animal lover.
The shelter needed to raise $850 to have two tissue-based tumors removed from Maggie's legs.
Now thanks to the Good Samaritan Maggie will get her surgery.
Oh, and the excess money collected through the Go Fund Me campaign will be used to get Maggie's teeth cleaned, and to get major dental surgery for Chloe, the shelter's Chihuahua.
You can read about Maggie's condition and keep up with her surgery on her Go Fund Me page.

Whoever the donor is, and wherever you are, thank you for caring about animals. You're an inspiration.
