Nashville is known as Music City, USA and for good reason. Some of the most legendary recording artists have began their careers in this incredible city. If you travel down Music Row, you will see many buildings specifically dedicated to the music industry. One of the buildings you'll see is CURB Records. Curb is responsible for such artists as Tim McGraw, Rodney Atkins, Jo Dee Messina, Lee Brice and more! The Curb studio is not just used by artists on the label. Many country stars have used their space to record albums including Johnny Cash and Blake Shelton.

Aaron, Alex, and Craig are a few of the guys that work at the CURB Studio and were kind enough to let me get a little tour of the studio and share what I learned with you.

Here Is Andy's Video Tour:

One of the most interesting things I learned about a good recording studio, like CURB's, is the actual design of the studio. I learned that to have the best possible sound yo ucan't have any parallel walls. That is why you see many of the walls are built in a zigzag formation. So much specific thought and detail went into the design of this building even down to the air conditioning. You never knew when it was on, because the construction of the unit is so unique it allows for the air to flow quietly.

It truly was an honor hanging out with some of the best in the business and to stand in a room with such a rich history.
