Everything you need or would want to know about the Adirondacks can be found in one place, the Adirondack Experience Museum on Blue Mountain Lake.

The museum - formerly the Blue Mountain Lake Museum host special events all summer long like live music, antique shows, lectures and even rustic furniture repair workshops.

And of course you'l be able to learn about the history of the Adirondacks, how they were settled, by whom, and of course the history of the Native American Iroquois who called the area home long before European settlers came to New York.

The Adirondack Experience Museum on Blue Mountain Lake will open for the summer on Friday, May 25th.

You'll be able to feed trout, do some bird watching, interact with craftsmen, stroll gallery after gallery of Adirondack art, photography, furniture, tools, cabins, boats and more.
