A Good Apple Pie Recipe Can Get You A Weekend Getaway

Pie, Cobbler, Streudel; there are so many options when baking tasty treats with apples. Did I mention, crumble? The NY Apple Association is looking for the best Apple Pie Recipes, and it could get you a weekend getaway in The Hudson Valley. Here's all you need to know.

The contest is as "easy as apple pie" to enter. Just make a pie using New York apples, they can be handpicked or purchased from a local grower. Take a photo and provide a brief description of the recipe. Then kick back and enjoy your pie, with cheese or ice cream.

The contest runs through October 25, with the grand prize winner getting a 3-day, 2-night stay at a Hudson Valley bed and breakfast including a car rental. 4 runner-ups will receive an apple gift box. All 5 winners are expected to provide detailed instructions on their recipe.
