There's low, then there's downright cruel. A 9-year-old boy with cerebral palsy and scoliosis is without his customized green wheelchair after thieves broke into the family garage and stole it.  They used it to carry all the food they also took.

The good news is, the community has rallied around the family and one Ohio company has even offered to build Stephen a custom wheelchair for free. I hope they include the light-up wheels, since that was Stephen's favorite part of his old one.

An online fundraising drive has also been set up to help the family cover the costs. Stephen's school has given him a temporary wheelchair until it's replaced.

There are bad people in the world but it's nice to know there are way more good people.  It's just sad to have something bad happen to bring out that good.
