Hayden Eaton may only be 7 years-old but he's teaching us all the real meaning of the season. The Whitesboro boy has been busy giving back for the holidays.

I just thought it would be nice and really awesome to give back

For Thanksgiving, Hayden decided to donate turkeys to the Rescue Mission to help feed the hungry.

For Christmas Hayden helped his grandmother Sueann make reindeer clothespins that he donated to the men and women at the Utica Police Department.

The generosity continued when Hayden decided to become a Santa for a Senior, picking up gifts for a senior in the area, who may otherwise have been forgotten during the holidays. "I just wanted to help out. Every night when I'm lying in bed I hear it on Big Frog 104 and I thought I want to do it," he says.

The giving back doesn't end there. Hayden recently put in an application to become a bell ringer for the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign.

Every idea for the holiday came from Hayden himself. Why would a 7 year-old want to do so much for other people? "I just thought it would be nice and really awesome to give back," he says.

As a way to thanks for giving back, we're giving Hayden and his family tickets to see Chris Young's 'I'm Coming Over' tour at the Utica Audi February 27th. "It would be better if it was on February 21st," says Hayden, which is when he'll turn 8.

Cassadee Pope will join Young at the concert which amazed Hayden. "Wow. Two people in one day."

Wow is right. Most adults don't do as much for their community as 7 year-old Hayden. Thanks for setting an example for those young and old and being an inspiration to all.
