3,500 Without Power in New Hartford, South Utica

A power outage Tuesday morning has some 3,500 National Grid customers waking up in the dark. 

The outage is affecting customers in New Hartford and South Utica.

UPDATE: By 8:20 a.m. Tuesday morning the vast majority of the outages reported this morning had been restored.

No word at this time on what caused the outage.
