Country artists were front and center on the red carpet of the 2016 Grammy Awards — Music's Biggest Night. From anticipated performances to talent-filled awards categories, the lineup is stacked with familiar names, and like the good friends that they are, country acts were elated to share the spotlight.

Lee Ann Womack and Ashley Monroe dazzled on the red carpet early, before the main event. Womack showed up to the Grammys in a short V-neck dress, and she was gorgeous. She was nominated for two awards: Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance. Meanwhile, Monroe channeled her inner mermaid to compete for Best Country Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Lonely Tonight” with Blake Shelton.

Little Big Town and Chris Stapleton are the most nominated of the night, and they started their winning during the pre-telecast. Both acts got all-genre nominations, as well as Best Country Album and Best Country Song nominations, with "Girl Crush" taking the song honors. Carrie Underwood and Sam Hunt's created a buzz early — they'll collaborate for a live performance of "Heartbeat" during the 2016 Grammys. Luke Bryan will honor Lionel Richie as part of an all-genre tribute.
