Autumn in Central New York is so beautiful and there are a lot of things to do. Utica Zoo is holding two events you really should know about. One includes drinking.

The Utica Zoo is already a year round attraction and a destination for you if you're looking for fun. They're just one upping themselves with two autumn themed events later on in October. One is very family friendly and will be a blast for adults and kids too. While the other one gets you out of the house on a Friday enjoying some drinks near the zoo animals.

That second one sounds very intriguing huh? Spirits on Safari is happening Friday, October 22nd starting up at 5:30. This event is purely for the adults though as it is 21 and over. On showcase will be many wines from right here in New York State. While you sip on a tasty red or white, you also can relax and hear some live music by Ladies of Soul and Their Gentlemen. You'll also be able to hear some fireside stories or walk around and check out vendors too.

Maybe after that night, you'd like to bring the family out for another day of fun. Lucky for you, October 23rd starting at 10 am at the Utica Zoo is Spooktacular Harvest Festival. More live music will be presented and even some fun trick or treating events for the kids to enjoy. This is a two day event though running through 4:30 on Sunday the 24th.
